I built five golf apps because my scorecard had five leaks.

GameCaddie is a suite of five golf training apps, each built to fix one stroke leak: BallCaddie fits your golf ball, PracticeCaddie structures your range time, FitCaddie readies your body, MyBagCaddie audits your 14 clubs, and ZenCaddie trains the mental game. It is built by one golfer in Ogden, Utah, and every app is free to start with no credit card.

The story

I striped it on the range and fell apart by the turn. So I spent money the way most golfers do: lessons, a launch monitor, a fitting. My swing got a little better and my Saturdays didn't, because strokes leak from more places than the swing. The ball, the practice, the body, the bag, and the six inches between your ears all take their cut, and no lesson covers all five.

The leak that taught me this was mental. One double on hole 4 kept turning into three more, and that eventually became ZenCaddie. The rest of the suite follows the same rule: one app, one leak, one answer at the moment you need it. BallCaddie and PracticeCaddie shipped first, ZenCaddie went live in August 2026, MyBagCaddie followed later that month, and FitCaddie went live in September 2026.

Who builds GameCaddie?

GameCaddie is built by Garrett Pierson, a golfer and software founder in Ogden, Utah. Before GameCaddie he spent 17 years building software companies, including co-founding Shopper Approved, a review platform that grew past 100 million collected reviews and made the Inc. 500 list of America's fastest-growing companies twice.
